A Good Waffle Recipe

This recipe came with my Waring Pro Professional Belgian Waffle Maker.These waffles are wonderful. They are so light and most of the work is done the night before! My whole family thinks that this is the only recipe to use when making waffles. The first waffle didn't turn out because I didn't use enough batter--my waffle iron needed about 2/3 cup each--but after that they were perfect. For those new to waffle-making, here is a good tip I have used to know when they are done without having to open the iron constantly to look (which can ruin the waffle if it is still soft)...

This waffle recipe is fail proof and can be made ahead and kept in the fridge for up to 5 days. It makes a perfect waffle that is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. This waffle mixture is great because it is easy to throw together and you can keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days for quick morning breakfasts. The waffle was crispy on the outside, but tender on the inside, with good flavor. My only criticism, and certainly no fault of the recipe, is that my waffle maker anyway, cooks unevenly, with some parts of the waffle browning more than others.
